OfficeCup USA ("OfficeCup USA," "we," "us," or "our") operates a free-to-play soccer prediction game and related website and services (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Who we are

OfficeCup USA provides team-engagement prediction pools to organizations such as companies, clubs, and groups. We are an independent product and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA or any official tournament organizer.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Contact and inquiry information. When you submit a demo request or contact us, we collect your name, work email address, company name, and any message you provide.
• Account and gameplay information (for participants). If you join a pool, we collect your name, email address, the predictions and picks you make, and your scores and ranking within the pool.
• Organization information. When an organization sets up a pool, we collect the pool name and any logo or branding the administrator chooses to upload.
• Technical information. We may collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, and basic usage information needed to operate and secure the Service.

We do not knowingly collect payment card numbers, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal data through the Service.

3. How we use information

We use information to: operate and provide the Service; create and run prediction pools and leaderboards; respond to inquiries and provide support; send service-related communications; maintain security and prevent abuse; and comply with legal obligations. We do not use participant data for advertising, and we do not sell personal information.

4. How information is shared

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• Within your pool. Your name, picks where applicable, and ranking are visible to other members of the same pool and to the pool administrator.
• Service providers. We use trusted third parties to host the Service and deliver email (for example, hosting and email providers), and a sports-data provider to obtain match schedules and results. These providers process data on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
• Legal reasons. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of OfficeCup USA, our users, or others.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties.

5. Prizes are awarded by organizers, not by us

OfficeCup USA is a software and engagement tool, not a betting or gambling service. Playing is always free, and we never collect entry fees or handle prize money. Any reward or prize is determined and awarded solely by the organizing company or group, independently of OfficeCup USA.

6. Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, and residents of certain other jurisdictions may have similar rights. To exercise any right, contact us at hello@officecupusa.com. You may also ask your pool administrator to remove you from a pool.

7. Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. When a tournament or pool ends, we retain related data only as long as reasonably necessary, after which it is deleted or anonymized.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children

The Service is intended for users 18 years of age and older and for workplace and organizational use. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. International users

The Service is operated from the United States and intended for users in the United States. If you access it from elsewhere, you understand your information will be processed in the United States.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
